Where is the closest free range hog hunting to CT?

To what state and area can a guy go to for the closest free range wild boar hunting to Connecticut.

Interested in something this winter.

Maybe Nort west river in Chesapeke Va.
Check the Va. department of game on line . There is a section on hunts put on by the department . You could come dowm US-13

They are for sure working their way up north. I saw a graph/map on what was projected to be locations of wild Hogs by the end of 2015 and it covered most of the US all the way to Canada. If you think a deer makes a mess of a car you should see what happens to an import from just a 150 lb Hog. They hire crews to trap and catch Hogs with dogs on and around the Kennedy Space Center just to slow the problems with car strikes. I wish you happy hunting  ;)

Savage 99,  Finding a state that has them, probably isn't too hard, but finding a place to hunt them with any reasonable chance of bagging one, is another kettle of fish!  If you aren't familiar with the area, you may have to spend a lot of time/make several trips to get one.  For real free range hog hunting, I think South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and of cours, Texas are your best bets.

For instance, yes we have wild hogs, here in Southern Indiana, but trying to find them or getting access to them[on private land], is very difficult.

hogs in nc PA? Wow,i grew up there,whitetails everywhere back then. But for darn shure there weren't any wild hogs. I left there about 1971........
