I wish I had all the brain cells and hearing back that I lost at those concerts back in the day but I wouldn't trade the good times I had for them. eddiegjr

I seen Stevie and Christie real close up in an outdoor concert, some where in the Twin Cities area, 1976, So young and pretty at the time.

Growing up in the Phoenix area, like Stevie Nicks did, I had the opportunity to meet her many times before she got big. I was a show junkie in my mis-spent youth. She was hot as a firecracker then. Now I have seen her reasonably close in Scottsdale within the last couple years. Considering all the coke she did,she still looks pretty good. Now if you want a hottie in younger times, Linda Ronstadt did it for me.

I used to like Linda Ronstadt's music until she stopped singin, and started yellin. Martina McBride did the same thing. They always talk about her "range" but it sounds like yellin to me.

I had a 69 Ford Torino with a 351 Cleveland engine, that was called "the Linda Ronstadt museum" cause there were so many 8 track tapes of her in it!

The one that I think has aged real well, and was always pretty hot, Ann Margret. Something about that strawberry blond hair, and her atitude. All the USO trips with Bob Hope. Yep, real winner there. gypsyman

Stevie Nicks was hot, when I was 17 (it was a very good year)

Another one from many years ago..
When I was stationed in Germany, and just before we found out what she really was..Jane Fonda, while making a film in Germany, was asked to be the voluntary "sweetheart" of another unit stationed there. May have been the 8th "Golden Arrow" Div..but I really can't recall.
In any case, they were quite disappointed when the one to become known as "Hanoi Jane" gave them a rude brushoff..
Their spirits were soon elevated when a young German lady happily stepped up in a voluntary manner ..to be their gal. I speak of none other than ELKE SOMMER...

From what I've heard, I don't think anything could top Bangkok!   ;D  Wasn't there a song... something like "One night in Bankok makes a hard man humble."

In high school I dated the best looking girl in town.  Tall, slinder, Natural Blond, she broke it off when we were seniors.  My Mama still says that is what drove me into leaving home and joining the Air Force.  She did not appear at out last reunion (40) year.  So I went to look her up.  I went to her Mothers house to find out where she was and how she was doing.  Her Mother was still a very attractive lady, even in her 70s.  Tall slinder, looks like she is in her 50s.  Her mother told me where and when she worked, but warned me she is a very bitter woman.  I went by to say Hi.  I met her, all 400 lbs of her.

I always thought Susanne Pleshette was hot.  So when I met a beautiful little 17 year old that looked like Susanne Pleshette I married her.  Did not last long, three years.  Today she is very hard to get along with, and looks 10 years older than I do, and I'm old.

So like Garth Brooks said, Thank God For Unanswered Prayers.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

See, now that 400 lbs. would not bother some folks in the least. Though, I hate to say, it would probably bother me. :D

Often you can find current pics of these ladies if you search for "I wonder what ever became of". Naturally they are not quite as pretty as they were then..but of course, neither are we... ;) :D

Some are not even around, Suzanne Pleshette, Juliet Prowse (GI Blues), Elizabeth Montgomery (Bewitched) and now Farah Fawcett have all succumbed to cancer.

Most of them in real life were screwed up messes. Who would want to hang around a drug addict, drunk, or someone that couldn't get out from in front of a mirror?
I think Sheryl Crow is hot, but good grief what an idiot. Look as Ashley Judd. A fox on the outside, and tramp on the inside. Her cure for the picture takers is flashin her top. Who wants something every one in the world has either seen, will see, or had. Not me. I don't need the drama.
I think Stevie Nix once admitted to having had an affair with everyone in the band, except the other broad.
I see down to earth gals walkin around in WalMart with a baby in the cart that would put most of these little princesses in the shade, and know a few that can sing too.
