Used H&R Ultra Slug Hunter
« on: January 08, 2010, 01:30:50 AM »
HI All,

Deer season 2009 is done here in NH, but I'm thinking about next year.  A local shop has a used H&R 20 gauge Ultra Slug Hunter.  It's equipped with some generic scope (non-name brand).  The gun looks like it's in good shape and the wooden stocks are quite nice looking.

the shop is asking $299, but that seems steep to me, even with the generic Chinese scope (which looked pretty good even though it was a no-name brand job).  What's a decent price for such a gun that is used, but in good shape?

Thanks-in-advance

That no name scope probly came with the gun and if they are anything like the scopes on the latestest round of scoped guns from Dick's...they ain't to bad. But $299 is way to much used anywhere in the country.Kurt

Thanks for the replies fellas.  it seemed way to pricey, but I thought I'd check.  I guess I will have to budsgunshop it or check gunbroker.com.
