PETA information and news
« on: January 08, 2010, 05:34:25 AM »
Most all folks hunting in Africa that travel from a foreign land are viewed as trophy hunters. Because you cannot bring the meat home, it's a somewhat logical assumption by others. Especially those that do not hunt. No meat goes unused, or is thrown out. Most of the organs, intestines, hides and horns are also used. There is little to no waste with the game harvested. The management of the game is needed to protect from over browsing. If American or foreign hunters were not coming to hunt the game, the property owners would cull it off anyway to sell for the meat value. So the animals are going to be harvested one way or another.

When you run into some PETA fanatic or anti hunter, send them this link, or remind them of the facts regarding PETA.

PETA is against enslaving of any animal. They are 100% against pet ownership.  In Virgina where the headquarters is at they kill 300 for every 1 animal they find a home for. Yet down the street the ASPCA with a tiny fraction of the money PETA has they find homes for nearly 70%. PETA is a multi million dollar business with some really wealthy ownership.......... wonder how they get so rich?  They don't wanna be bothered with the work to care for animals, it's a business decision to make a profit. When you have a load of hollywood movie stars funding your lifestyle you can live the high life. These people no more care for animals then any responsible sportsman, They actually care even less! What is the difference in culling over populated wild animals or them euthanizing family pets. Both are animals, both are over populated. The big difference is that the sportsman is providing food and income to the economy. PETA is sucking money from members to use for their own personal gain and luxury lifestyle.

PETA will euthanize the pets they pick up in the truck before they ever get to the kennels they run. Look closely at the expenses they have on the tax statements from this website.

It's very shocking information on this "so called" animal rights group!

Forward this to anyone that gives you grief as a hunter or sportsman. Many of these people rely on PETA as there information source.

This site has a lot of links and all are worth clicking on and knowing about as an outdoorsman.
