If I install the Garmin City Navigator SD card in my Rino 530 HCX will it give me turn by turn directions(voice commands) like a Nuvi would?

There are two versions of City Navigator, it appears that this version will work with your late model 530HCx.

There is a learning process to effectively using a gps. Do not throw your compass and map away!
