I've been lurking here a while and bought several lever rifles. In the mean while the desire for a 45.70 Handi rifle continues, looking at getting one mid year. The artwork you have burned  into the factory stock looks good and has filled my head with idea's as I was planning a simple refinish and dye job. Thanks for the inspiration, now I gotta come up with something just a little differant ::)

I have another one that I am doing. Hope to have it done in the next week or so. The stock was beat up and needed so TLC and this is what I came up with.

Kind of fitting for my 223 bb handi.

That's a great idea!  I have one of the 'Whitetails Unlimited' that H&R put our for a while and really like the extra dress up the carving gives it.  I may find someone who lazers stocks and have something put on a couple of my others after seeing your fine job.  Excellent!  44 Man

A grip cap fro Numerich off of a parker or other shotgun, dresses them up a good deal too. You get a big improvment for about 8 bucks.
