Anyone hunt with one? They appear to be one of the nicer 92 clones.

They are not one of the nicer Model 92 clones, they are the NICEST/BEST - bar none.

No lawyer safety, no rebounding lockwork, no B.S.

ive allways wanted a 44mag browning. Seems they never showed up when i had money! Story of my life though.

I've been kind of looking for one in 357mag now for a while, but they are hard to find. More common in 44mag.

I like the browning 53 in 32-20 as well. I used to own one but in a moment of insanity sold it.

I found three .357 Browning B92's F/S within 5mins via google.
Yesterday.
ALL were priced @ $995 to $1K

The 357's seem to be worth more than the 44mags.

I have one with the case hardened reciever and saddle ring in 357. Been thinking about selling to fund another craving but I have no idea what to ask for it. It is in very nice shape.I will never use it and im not a collector.

I bought this one several years ago at a gun show in Salt Lake City. The previous owner was an older fellow who came back to Utah from Alaska, to retire. He told me that this .44 lever gun did guard duty in an Alaskan cabin for many years, I'll bet it has plenty of stories to tell.

That's a right pretty piece there Warhawk. I bought my Marlin 41Mag at the Salt Palace in SLC back in '90 - it was NIB though 6 years old.

Like others, the Browing's have escaped my budget limitations, but we all can dream of the day, right?

Right place at right time - good for you! You give us all hope that we may be in the right place at the right time for a B92!

Back then the little Marlin went for $256.00 - it was for my new-born son, who turns 20 next week. I later "discovered" it in our local pawn shop, pawned by me son's mother, my then ex-wife. I bought it again, so now have $440.00 in it, but my son will still have it when he gets his own place and out of her control. Until then, he shoots it when he's with me, and he's ok with that. Unfortunately, I have grown quite fond of it so will have to replace it when that day comes.

I had a contender pistol in 35rem, that was just not my cup of tea. I traded it for a new Browning 92 44mag, that had a couple small scratches on it. Owner said he never would get its full value out of it in sale, because of the scratches so he decided to trade it for something he did want. Its a beaut. I will shoot it when my Marlin 44mag wears out.

Are you sure you are going to wear it out? IF you plan to anyway, you might as well be getting practiced up on that B92 and be ready for that fateful day! LOL!
Only worn out Marlin I ever saw was in Green River, getting a barrel liner. Like a new set of lungs. it's off and running again. Not mine, but he lined my 73Win 38WCF at the same time he did his 44-40 Marlin.

My old Marlin has been duracoated, that's wearing off. It might need a new lifter, and will probably go to the gunsmith along with my Rem 7400 for a good cleaning next month. But its a shooter, oboy. Maybe I'll shoot the B92 on my 60th birthday. That's 2 Decembers away. We'll see.....

That could be quite an event!! Like at sunset maybe? Two decembers from now I'll be on what's left of social security. Maybe I'll touch off my Marlin 41Mag at sunset - give the neighbors something to think about!! LOL

How 'bout it guys? Want to help bearmgc celebrate 60years and getting her B92 out of mothballs? I'll touch off the Marlin 41mag, and put my wife on the '73Win 38WCF at sunset whatever day bearmgc says is appropriate. May be another shot heard around the Country, if not around the World!
