Serial numbers and lug numbers???

Do all Handi's come from the factory with the last three digits of the serial number scribed on the barrel lugs, or only the barrels that are fitted to frames after the fact? 

After I looked at the Versa Packs, I thought they all came that way, but never bothered looking at the Handi's I already have.

Every gun that I have are all numbered the same. Thats how I check guns out at gunshows to see if they are factory barrels or not.

I've got one factory fitted barrel that isn't marked, but I have another that's also factory fitted that has two different sets of numbers, so that makes up for it!!  But yes, they're normally marked, mine are exceptions to the rules, but when you consider I have 46 frames, the bigger sampling increases the odds they'll make a mistake once in a while or I'm just lucky!!

I got 2 bbl that have the same three #'s on them and they were not from a combo. For some reason I figured they would be good Pick Three #'S THAT WAS $20 AGO $1 at a time Kurt

I have a couple that do not have any #s on the lug at all.
Who knows what they have done over the years!
