Well spanky had me so upset, calling the last deer a fawn, I went out and shot  2 "mature" does
Love this gun.

Great job. How long were the shots? Where did you hit them?

They where about 50-60 yard shots
1st deer I shot high in the back to drop it (there where 6 other deer with it).
2nd deer was quatering towards me, hit leg bone going in, but took out the heart.
The 1 st deer took 3 more in the neck to finnaly kill it all where good placement in the neck without pass through.
Using Lightfield 20 ga slugs, Shooting high to drop the 1st one is an old trick, that way they do not flag and run at all, and the others do not take off.
But 3 in the neck to finish it off ??

I wish our season lasted a bit longer for deer.
Only one I got Spanky would have called a fawn too.
Just finished off a bowl of chili "seasoned" with some
of that little deer though and it sure was tastey!
