I don't think this unusual cold weather is a coincidence..
Thei "global warming" game has been played for some years now, and a lot of crooked money has been made, and a lot of crooked politics have been played by unscrupulous people. Frankly, I believe the Lord has tired of it !
Do you think the E-mail exposure of the global warming fraud just a couple weeks ago was an "accident" ? I don't think so ! I believe the Lord tired of certain crooks and made sure they were exposed...then just to "seal the deal", he showed them just who REALLY is in charge !

Ironglow - honestly, it is almost laughable to read about the deep cold and snow in parts of the world that rarely see it so bad, and on the same page reading this nonsense about global warming and seeing some of those idiots trying to say they go hand in hand.

You're right about the crooks, frauds and politicians milking the 'doomsday' myth of global warming and I, for one, am very glad that the Good Lord has shown them who is really in charge. Unfortunately, many of those crooks, frauds and politicians are either too stupid to see the writing on the wall or think we are too stupid to recognize the difference.

Maybe, just maybe, if the next time the dumbocraps go to pass new legislation on global warming God freezes over the legislative chambers they might get the idea as to who to turn to for real advice.......... just a thought.

I'm less analytical and more blunt: If some bozos that have very little scientific evidence decide that the weather is changing and then try to convince the rest of us that's true, they can easily be shown to be using fallacious reasoning.

However, when something is repeated as a matter of orthodoxy, it becomes true regardless of the facts. Tahiti could be under a foot of snow right now and it wouldn't make a whiff of difference to the orthodoxy.

More significant to global warming in America is the state of the economy. The general interest in global warming is falling because they see our government pushing the issue, even going so far as to say that 17,000 jobs will be created by federal green initiatives, while the citizenry sees jobs declining at a rate an order of magnitude greater than that.

magooch, splaine to me Al Gore's part in this....................God is in control, thats certain. But the weather paterns he created are just that,with no underlying intent.

I saw it snow in florida when I was a kid. And again when I was a middle aged man. And now once again it has snowed. Really whats the big dead with these weather cycles. If the Lord tarries, I believe it will snow again in florida in another 25 or 30 years.....

The Earth has been warming since the end of the Little Ice Age. There have been several trends over the last ten thousand years that has had warmer periods than we are experiencing now.

Weather we are causing it or not (like the pun?

), I'd speculate that when the Earth decides to cool off, we'd better get our coats and hot chocolate, 'cause baby, it's gonna be cold outside.

I don't comment on things like this much but I like Pastorp said I have seen it snow here in Florida 3 times in my life I think it is a cycle that the earth goes threw and we are on the cold side of the cycle now. this global worming thing of AL Gores I think is a bunch of B.S. and that is all I have to say about AL Gore D Crockett

Actually, there was more scientific evidence within the last 20 yr to support global cooling rather than warming, and is just part of the earth's many cycles. Because the earth has more wobble these days, yes its predicted that some unlikely Northern areas will get a little warmer with longer summers. But more areas in general will get cooler.

As the earth warms the ice caps melt, flooding the oceans with cold water.This in turn upsets the earths ability to move warmth around thermal convergence, believe it's called. So in effect global warming will be the trigger for the next ice age in about 300-400 years. The History Channel had a great program on about. "The Little Ice Age." I was living in Haines City, FL in 1958 and it was a bad year for the citrus crops. Lots of freezing weather caused an almost total loss of the crop. On TV they showed dump trucks hauling the fruit out and dumping it into the pastures to feed the cattle as it was not marketable to humans.

I suspect they'll be doing it again this year unless they've found a better use for it in all the years that have passed since then. BTW a very hot summer followed and I got the first truly bad and I mean REALLY BAD sunburn I had ever had to that time.

Did you know there are no ice cubes in the refrigerator at Al's "global warming" headquarters ? Yep..neither Al nor any of his Ivy League henchmen can figure out the recipe..
