I propose that we the members of the Graybeard Trappping forum vote to authorize our Moderator to enlist the services and experience of the recently returning Rascal to once again this year conduct a photo contests.

I further suggest that there be three catagories; younguns, regular trappers and old farts.  If possible the younguns should get a prize, maybe even the regular trappers but the "old Farts" will be in it juat for kicks.

It is timely since the seasons around the country are all just about to open.  Also, Rascal is retired, has a lot of spare time on his hands and we need to jump in and help his wife by keeping him busy.  One other thing, since the Rascal is back to trapping I suggest that we ask him to donate 30% of his fur check to the prize fund maybe for a year end grand prize for the "old Farts".  After all, with his skill that should be enough for the NEW TRUCK that he ducked out on last year :eek: .

Come on now guys vote!  Power to the people!

  Funny you should mention this-- GB and I have already been talking about it and I will get with Tom on it.  He is your moderator and I will be glad to help anyway possible.  

  As far as donating 30% of my fur check, what is 30% of 3 skunks, 2 possum and a ground hog :eek:

I am on the road to pick up another load of supplies, stopped at my friend mikes and was just checking on things.
 Joe if you would like to hold photo contests it sure sounds good to me.
 As long as wacky does'nt froth over on us--remember wacky --these are trapping photos--not sports illustrated swimsuit issue--my goodness thats a scary thought--wacky in a bathing suit.

:grin: Sounds great to me!  As always, i'll donate some lures as prizes but NO PINK TRUCKS or ATV'S for Newt.  Wacky gets a 5 gallon bucket of water and boggy get some dry sand to stand in. LOL!  Ace :)

Duke;
   I am sorry to inform you that you do not stand a chance at winning the ugliest man contest.  I have that one nailed down--seriously!!!!!!!!!!   My looks have changed a lot in the last year and I can honestly say that there cannot be an uglier one than I am now.  NO TEETH!  Wrinkled all over my face (I think they call it weathered  :lol: ) - bad complection (blotchy as can be now)- lost some weight in places I didn't need to and gained in places I shouldn't.  HA!!!!!!  FORGET IT!!  You can't win. :twisted:
