Where did that big dog ride in that kayak?

When I bring him I park my truck at the trailhead and hike in.

I've been hiking the park for the last 30 years, been kayakin for the last 5 years on and off.

I'm a canoe kinda guy. I have an expedition rack on my jeep for it. The dogs are terriers so there's plenty of room. You camp like I camp. Not too many frills. That looks like a heck of a good river to run.

I have been planning on buying a kayak in March or April, That's when they will have the new lineup in the store in Lexington. A Hennesy hammock is on the list also. The Kentucky river is gonna be my training grounds, but you sure make the Green river look like a nice place. Maybe after I get a little more experiance and get in a lot better shape we could meet up for a little tour of your favorite water spot. I don't head west often, Not past New Haven anyway, I spend most of my time between Lex. and Corbin, Gotta do the Red river soon also.  Nice pictures. Gotta love KY.....Go Cats. ;D

The kayak is easy to master, a lot easier if you get one that has adjustable foot rests. Let me know when you want to play on the Green River, I would be more than glad to give you a first class tour.

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing them. I recognize the MSR and wing stove, have them both. My wife and I did a fair amount of canoe camping in the NY Adirondacks before we got the camping trailer.

I have a Mad River OC2 that need to get back in the water.

I have done the South Fork near Angle falls years ago and it snowed most of the week.
