And what does that have to do with the price of rice in China?
Not a thing to do with the price of tea in China. I've seen your posts on this subject/thread - thin the herd, rats, ect, ?

You're a sicko with no sense of the suffering people are enduring. You vote Republican? Go to church?

Keep fighting nature, just wait until you even bend one of natures laws. Keep starving more kids everyday, you are just to dumb to get it.

BTW: New Jersy, Rode Island and DC have higher denisty levels than Haiti.

And what does that have to do with the price of rice in China? It appears all you have listed with the exection of DC are capable of living within their carrying capacity, by means of production or trade.

It has nothing to do with the price of rice in China nor the price of milk in Wisconsin. But it does have something to do with your post #34.

I am all about helping those that have been victims of destruction and devastation. Well, over 1,460,000 babies were aborted last year. Could someone please help those victims while we are at it!

My home town was completely flooded by Hurricane Ike. 95 % of the homes were flooded, a lot of them completely destroyed. Lives were lost. Seems I dont remember anyone wanting to send anyone there to spend a 100 million(initially) to help those victims. 1 in 8 homes are still not inhabited that were before the flood. Maybe we shudda had more TV coverage there?  ::)  Oh I forgot thats merely a small town on the Gulf coast of Texas, what could anyone gain by doing something charitable there.

Makes you wonder what determines an adequate response to a natural disaster.

I believe it was in the book of John where Jesus said, "Woe unto those who choose to be born in poor countries to poor parents."

Sometimes people claim to be Christian scare me way more than those who don't.

Hey because of all you do gooders "help" Hait is grossly overpopulated. Back when the population of Haiti was 1 million it was overpopulated and people were starving, so you guys "helped" them by giving them food. Now because of your "help" there are over 9 million staving people in Haiti. You guys are the cruel ones. You are the one creating all the starving people. Don't talk all high and mighty to me because you think you are doing good. You are not doing good, you are killing millions and millions all because of your medeling with nature. You talk about me being cold when you are causing the starvation of millions.

dukkillr , I am a christian and i agree - some who call thenselves christians scare me also.
They seem to forget we are judged on what we do like helping or not . It is Gods place to judge Haiti and the people there . It is not at all wrong to pray what happened there does not happen to us and to live different than they have live in an effort to be spared . But to judge is a bad sin as in doing so we try to act as a God .
I look at Pat R. he made a statement and it may or may not be true . I have no problem with him saying it at all . But what if it were true would it not be the perfect time for christians to flood the country with help and show those people a better way ?

So should we feed the starving children. So they can breed more starving children. Then we can feed more starving children. So they can breed more starving children. So we can feed even more starving children. And then they can breed even more starving children. And on and on and on. Boy you all are so wonderful and loving with all your "help".

So are they going to be able to feed themselves at a population of over 900 per square mile. The US has a density of 83 per square mile. Please tell me how they can be educated into feeding themselves. Oh wait maybe they can use Haitis "vast" natural resources. Get it through your heads it's not an education problem it's an OVERPOPULATION problem. Duhh!  So is adding more people that are educated gonna help?

Well, it seems to me that the basic problem in Haiti is that they are disorganized.  They need a good organizer.  I know where there is one who I would be more than willing to give to them.  He presently lives in Washington D.C. and is doing his best to screw this country up.  His services are needed much worse on that Carribean island, so I say we send him down there with one condition--he stays there.

doncha people learn anything?  some of you here, who love to rant and rave about the U.S. going to other countrys and  trying to get them to adopt our ways, and how stupid it is trying to change their culture.  and yet here are the same people, advocating that same exact thing they admonish others for.
i dont like seeing people suffer any more than the next guy.  but if you think they money and aid are going ot help anyone other than the corrupt sum*****es that are already raping that country, you are only kidding yourselves.    i remember the do gooders preaching about us helping the people in etheopia when i was a kid.  and what did that change?  it only lined the pockets of the dictators and thugs in charge.   this will not be any different.

i KNOW THIS WILL ATTRACT THE FLAMES BUT HERE GOES:

The Main thing they need there right now is security! Next to water and food and shelter!

We better send the military to keep the muscle from selling the aid to the victims! and using it to get control of the people, in other words we better send the military to Haiti for a "police action"!

Hey, What can I say  ??? What is the use of sending aid if it is gonna be used against the people or held by strong arms to hold power. If we cant send the troops, there will be anarchy and possibly mass genocide like has happened there before!

I'm struggeling with how sending food & aid to support people through a natural disaster is the same as sending in troops to war and nation building. I need some help with that one.

So what are you all doing to help? If you all wanted to do good for people in Haiti you would bring them to live with you. The population density of Haiti id over 900 people per square mile. Haiti has exceeded its carrying capacity. There are only two ways to help this problem, either they need to move out off there or the population needs to be reduced until it is within the carrying capacity of the land.

So tell me what are you doing to help?

You all can be Haiti and the rest of America will be like the DR. So don't you feel guilty because you and  your "hamanatarian" friends have casued what was a few starving children to breed into million of starving children? If left alone nature would have run its course and there wouldn't be all this starvation that you and your kind have caused.

I'm glad you said that Charlie. He was wrong, and should apologize. At a time like this it makes no sense to say something like that. Even if he thinks he has evidence that someone did make a deal with the devil. There are many people there that were there to help the poor and those that suffer in that squalor, and the Lord I believe in,does not punish a whole Island and innocent people. That gives Christianity a bad rap. There are agnostics and unbelievers that enjoy making hay with things like that. We all are sinners, we all make mistakes,(let he who is without sin cast the first stone) Those of us that are saved know we are forgiven for our transgressions, I'm betting some of the dead in Haiti, have been saved, so no I dont think God brought that earthquake down on them to punish for something that may have been done hundreds of years ago.  I dont buy it!
