So far, Haiti has received 3times more private financial donations than Katrina. That should embarrass Americans, especially since there are still areas devastated from Katrina, and Lousianna is still part of the US. Yes, some areas probably shouldn't be rebuilt, or be rebuilt on higher ground. I keep thinking that putting fruit groves in the lower areas could be good business, as land could be bought up cheaper, or used as community gardens. Any ways, Haiti will never be anything more than what it is, destitute, nonproducing, and ruled by a corrupt government. I sent alot of money (to me) to the Katrina victims via a church fellowship. But I won't send a penny to Haiti.
