Benjamin Pump Air Rifle
« on: October 31, 2003, 03:43:08 AM »
Good Morning Fellow Air Gun Fans:

Does anyone remember the web page that had the Benjamin Pump Air Rifles on sale ?? They are factory rebuilt, with new warranties. I had the address, but, unfortunately, have lost it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hope all of you have some good posts coming up. I know, most of you busy with hunting seasons open and work. I have been hard at work here on the home place, doing some hard physical work, like laying brick sidewalks and patios. Sure makes the place look better, too.

Back to air rifles and air pistols, I have really been doing lots of shooting, and now, going to have to replenish my "ammo". I will be starting I hope, on finding the most accurate pellets for my guns. I know it's gonna be tough with the RWS-34. I haven't seen nothing yet that don't shoot good in it.

I bought a "Pellet Sampler" pack, and I hope to do some careful work with them, and get the very best from the pack. I'm mostly interested in "game" pellets for pests, squirrels, etc.

Thanks to all and hope all you are having fun. Fall is in the air here, and the leaves have changed colors and really falling.

Casper_Zip--

For whatever it's worth, I ordered that remanufactured Benjamin 397 from South Summit a couple of weeks ago for $59.95 plus $12+ shipping.  When I received it, I went out this past weekend to zero the sights.  After 10 shots, one of the seals blew and now I have to return it at my own expense (about $12 shipping).

I would buy the new one. I bought a reconditioned one from an on-line auction.  The apparent reason it was rebuilt was a mangled pump arm.  It was sort of straightened but I had to do some more work on it.
