stainless guidegun
« on: January 14, 2010, 05:27:42 AM »
My stainless guidegun came in yesterday. I though I was done with bigbores but found a large supple of ammo in my loading room so I ordered another 45/70.  ::) Nice thing about the 45/70 is you can load from mild to wild with it in a strong gun. I'll load mild. My shoulder is past wild.

40-45 grains of Varget under a 405 is a lot of fun without the wear & tear on the gun or shooter.

Can't wait to get mine back from Marlin, she had a feeding problem.  Bound to have problems with anything man-made so no sweat, I'm sure Marlin will fix it fine.  Hope you like yours as much as I will like mine when she returns. :D  Havn't had any problems with any of my other Marlins.  Jeeze! I just noticed I don't have my 38-55 CB listed below!  Now I know it's been to long since I had her out!  DP
