Replacement Hasting screw-in chokes
« on: January 17, 2010, 06:20:29 AM »
Hastings has gone out of business.  I understand that their inventory will be auctioned off.  I recently purchased a Hastings barrel for my Rem. 1100 and am happy with the purchase.  My question is are there screw-in chokes from another source that will fit a Hastings barrel?

Thanks in advance for your reply

I'm not certain but suspect they use the kinda sorta industry standard original Winchester type tubes. Most folks other than the really big outfits use those. Remington is different and even has two of their own. Berretta has their own as well.

Browning started off with the standard Winchester then slightly modified it in 12 and 20 gauge.

Pretty much everyone else just stayed with what Winchester started.
