Have no idea of value, can you help price ?
« on: January 17, 2010, 02:19:08 PM »
New to the forum an just bought a H&R 223 rifle today, but I have a old to me but looks new 20 gauge NEF shotgun. Gun was bought new by me in 1990 per serial # shows 90 model. I bought this for my son to go dove hunting with me back then an to learn about weapons. Gun may have a box of shells or less shot threw it. It is in very good condition but not excellent close though. Gun has been kept cleaned during the years but no use. My son will probably never use it as he has my 870 wingmaster an just won a over under shotgun. So the gun is just wasting away. What would be a fair price to sell ?

A brand spanking new Pardner sells for $100-$130 if that give you any idea, the local chain store just had em on sale for $99.99. Bud's sells em for $126 including shipping, I paid $70 for my son's Pardner at K-mart in 1990. If you browse the H&R Classified forum, you'll see what others have sold for, but generally when you included shipping and FFL fees, it's best to just sell/buy it locally cuz the cost will add up to more than what a new one costs.

I was thinking in the 70.00 to 80 range local sales. But could this sb1 have a new life with a new 357 barrel or is it to old for this ?

They'll fit 357 and 44 mag to SB1 frames made since 1987, so you're good to go.  ;)
