I picked up a 1976 336 about a month ago with a 3-9X40 Redfield on it.  I probably will change out the Redfield to a smaller scope but I thought I'd shoot it some first.  The weather was bad today but based on it's 50 yard groups I believe it will shoot MOA at 100 yards with the right ammo.  The old Redfield tracked perfectly.

Those old Redfields are good scopes.
