Mass. senate race
« on: January 18, 2010, 02:17:18 AM »
I can't understand why anyone gives the republican any chance at all of winning that senate race tomorrow. The people of Mass. already have universal health care and they have a huge funding problem with it. What better way to help relieve that funding problem than to lean on the federal government (i.e., the rest of the states) for a bailout. The people of Mass. must surely know this, and I believe they will respond rationally and in their own self interest at the polls.

If I lived in a state with a failed system like that, I'd vote for the democrat too.

Maybe it's due to the fact, as Attorney General, she let an admitted child molestor out with out bail, just because he was a cop. She's a dirt bag, and just maybe the people are starting to find that out. gypsyman

That's nothing considering the corruption that is common in politics. It's such a minor thing as to be not even a consideration.

If she looses this race, it will be the first phase of a larger message being sent to DC.  The fact that it's even a struggle for them to keep Kennedy's old seat should tell you something about where the country is at.

I loved the line he said during the debate about it being "the peoples seat".  That line alone would almost convince me to vote for him.

Democrats dont know how to manage or govern anything. Their tactics are to surrender. It is becoming obvious even to voters.  When the lights went out in CA the people yanked Gay Davis as soon as legally possible. Thin glimmers of hope.

if he wins and it looks like he will. it will be because the people or sick and tired of the corruption, the taxes, the nanny state and on and on.

they are sending a message that"THEY WILL DECIDE" what is good for them not the Unionsw nor some Democratic Block Captian that has led them into oblivion with Taxes and giveaways to the point they can hardly pay their bills. They are sick of it and they are going to change out damn near everyone in office on both sides.

remember how they laughed at the Tea Baggers and the Redneck Racist (their words not mine) belittled them. well now they are gonna pay for that big time and they know it.

Don't worry, the democrats will win. The party machine has lots of schemes and outright fraud to make sure Brown does not win.

At this point all we can do is PRAY for "Changer."  It would sure be a kick in the butt for Obama if the Republican does win.

Well, it's going to be very close.  The Democrat machine has successfully registered somewhere around 500K "phantom" voters that are either dead or have moved from their listed address on voter registration.

The way it works is that non-registered voters organized by Acorn, Move On, etc., or voters that have already cast ballots, stand in line at polling stations to inflate "turnout" counts by poll watchers.  They enter the building, but don't vote.  That way, the numbers match for poll counts vs ballots cast, even though a large portion of these line standers are not planning to vote (they are there to facilitate fraud).

Approaching the polls closing time, voters that are registered but not present have their votes cast in favor of the Democrat by poll workers sympathetic their candidate.  In machine politics States (Illinois), this process ranges in impact from inconsequential to the B1 Bob Dornan effect (100k plus fraudulent votes cast in favor of the Democrat, costing Dornan the election).  Others refer to it as the "Daly effect", referring to the JFK victory in 1960, won by voter fraud in Cook County.

Voter fraud experts give Brown a -4%, in other words, he'll need to win by 5% to squeek by with a 1% margin.  It's going to be interesting.  My money is on the Democrat.

I have to agree with you, but I would guess that Brown will need at least a 10% win to actually win.  I'm betting that even ole Teddy will be voting in this one.

Wouldn't it be great if Brown does come out on top and that the Dumbycrat cheating is exposed and prosecuted.  Well, a man can dream--can't he?

Although I have no dog in this fight voting wise. Scott Brown did say some interesting things today on Fred Thompsons show. He used the words states rights and constitutuinal. He probably is far more liberal than someone I would like to see in office. But those words were refreshing to hear from a politician.

I figure that even conservative estimates of voter fraud gave Coakley another 2% that she didn't earn. That Brown victory is a good ol' fashioned country butt whoopin'.

Yeah and it's all the sweeter knowing that once again the silly Dumbycrats were too clever.  If they had not changed the law and had conducted a special election right quick after ole Teddy kicked off, Mr. Brown most likely wouldn't have had time enough to get his campaign off the ground.  Delaying the election also allowed a little more time for the outrage to build for the arrogance of the Dumbycrat Congress and the Obamanation.  I freaking love it.

I will admit that I'm not too sure just what the law is in Mass., but in any case it worked out way better that the Dumbycrat controlled legislature monkeyed with it.

I'm very happy for Brown and the USA for this win.  I think this is going to be the wake up call for the rest of DC.  The fact that this guy won in Kennedy land is more historic than Obama being elected.
