41 SSK style Bullets???
« on: January 19, 2010, 06:15:06 AM »
I am trying to find some ssk style 295-300gr bullets to load for my fa97.  the nose to crimp therefore needs to be .300 to .320.  i haven't been able to find any makers who list the bullets except penn, who is not currently producing them.  anyone know where i might find them?  there is one load for h110 in the lee manual for a 300gr bullet.  it shows a min oal of 1.54 but i can go to 1.6-1.62".  don't cast my own so hopig i can find them somewhere.  thanks.

I used to have an SSK mold for my 41mag listed at 275gr lino. It was from NEI and my alloy went 283gr. It was a hammer and I gave some to a pal for his 40-60Marlin, and now he has the mold! Google NEI and it will give you the website and they have a chart of molds with profiles. HTH

Seriously think I'd rather have a 225-240gr mold, after 28 years with the 41Mag. JMHO
