theres absolutely no way to predict that. evey gun is differnt and likes differnt bullets and loads with those bullets. the only way youll ever find out is to buy some and start experimenting with you specific gun.

If you send it to me with a good supply of bullets, 3 or 4 appropriate powders, several brands of primers and a good supply of Starline cases I will give you an answer in a few months.   ;D

Lloyd
I'm sure there is some pet loads running around these Boards the guy is new here(should be a welcome to gbo Blksqurl) and a friend of mine too boot  ;)
I'd say if you have a F A or even another make in 475 you your self have one or 2 loads you tend to go too first when
working up a Load, But I think he has something (325 ) and really is looking to see if any have Luck with this weight and if so
How fast or slow are you throwing it?
Mid range always seems to be best ?
Worst case The Gun is Nasty and won't group a worth dime with 325's ................
I say he,.. as others here
ASK so maybe they can slim down the amount of time spend throwing lead down range after all isn't this why GBO is the Best on the net (wealth of INFO) correct ?
SJPrice  has a Plan but I don't think its gunna work out that well ;D

to be honest with you ive never loaded a 325 in the 475. I personaly think its silly. If your looking for reduced recoil your much better off idleing down a 400. The 325s have poor sectioal density so they dont penetrate well and they dont fly well at long range and in my experience light for caliber bullets are harder to get accuracy out of. A 325 grain 44 mag would be a more effective big game load. Just my opinion and in the big picture that aint worth squat ::) ;D

I agree with what Lloyd says here.  The only point to the 325's is if you are looking to speed up the 475.  It was never meant for that.  Your best bet for speed in a big bore SA is the 454.  As for the 475, go with the 420's and run the range from 700 for fun plinking loads to 1400 for really serious hunting and penetration.  The 420's generally are the best for the 475 to get great accuracy with a wide range of velocity.

I own a few FA's but none in .475...yet. My .475 is a BFR. I have no experience with 325's but would suggest two powders. Win 231 and HS6 have both done very well for me...about 10 gr. of 231 and about 15 gr. for HS6 would be good places to start. As always you need to verify ANY loads you see on the internet. My own favorite is 16 gr. of HS6 under a 375 gr. LBT for 1200 fps.
