Yes, another futile charge into insurmountable odds that only served to build support at home for the fallen soldiers, a tradition passed down from the Spartans at the Gates of Fire to the Valley of the 600 to the Kasarine Pass and so many other enguagements where the blood sacraficed by soldiers at the dirrections of commanders brought the support of the home nations. A true military tradition of the European nations

May there be an eternity for the soldiers to rest in.

My cuff links are 17th Lancers (Light Brigade) blazer buttons.

That's neat as heck!

Even though I like light Cavalry, and Infantry for that matter, the Scots Greys (Heavy Cavalry/Dragoons) were my favorite European horse unit.  Their saber battle with the Russian Cavalry in the Battle of Balaclava was the quintessential cavalry engagement!
