I believe the 6 7/8" barrel models are going for around $400-$450 in good condition (stainless).  It's called the "Competition Target" model if you want to search gunbroker for market prices.
They are nice.

good question, I was in Ruger's booth at the SHOT show this week but did not look at the MK3 handguns. I lost intrest in new Ruger semi auto handguns when they stopped the MK2 line

Yep, sorry to see the M II go, but my slabside M II w/ 2X Leupold shoots GREAT!!

Had the scope set for 25yd paralax by the factory and it is a great shooting combination.

I would expect the 400 - 500 dollar range to be about correct at this point, but with the economy a person may well find one cheaper in the second hand market.

Anything below 400 should be a keeper, providing condition warrents the price.

Keep em coming!

I ave the 6 7/8" model just  like the one pictured previously and it is the most accurate .22 handgun I have. I usually get it out during the spring and early summer and hunt for groundhogs, mine is also scoped.....

Elmo: My smallest 25 Yd group with a hand gun was with my 22 slab side  target Ruger. It is the best buy Iv made of any of the hand guns I own.

My stainless Slabside is a MK II. I picked it up used a couple of years ago. After fixing the trigger with a VQ sear and Marvel trigger and giving it a useable mag release, I tested it and it is so accurate I put an Ultradot LT red dot holosight on it. The thing shoots like a rifle.

Yep, call mine my MOGH shooter.

"MOGH" stands for minute of grouse head!

Like all .22s, with the ammo it likes, it does shoot like a rifle.

Keep em coming!
