I had made a comment several weeks earlier that I had not seen any of the new inlines do a 1 inch group since they had come out. This responce is due to having observed well over a hundred being shot and group attempts at 100 yards being done, obvously with a lot of differant shooters. Until today I very firmly believed that it could not be done....................until today. I never could do it either with all of them that I have handled. This weekend,as usual,I was a range officer for the sight in days prior to out Deer season. I had a real workout with a very unruley Knight .50 cal. I had exactly 57 rounds through it before it calmed down. I was doing this for one of my friends,so it was not really a work session, but a play session. At any rate,...........I used two (2) Pyrodex 50 grn pellets, with a Remington 295 grn H.P. Copper slug(has a green sabot onna bottom). The whole thing was touched off with a Winchester 209 primer, and bbl was cleaned after each shot. Scope was at 12 power. I managed to put the last three rounds,at 100 yards, into an outside measurment of 1 inch. After deducting the projectile diameter of .498...it came to .502 inch group, for three rounds. I was not really so sure who was the most exited about it...............me or the other guys shooting on the range. The guy that owns the rifle was having a calf over it,and I think it is a fun rifle for target. I also put three .50 rb into a 4 inch group at 100 yesterday from my Penn rifle(100 of Goex Cartridge grade,.20 patch and a Hornady ball, iron sights). I think I had a good and productive weekend...........stay safe.................King
