I hear it's not so good for heavy recoling calibers. Plus, it's butt-ugly. (pun intended)

Agreed the AR is hideous and it only follows that the AR buttstock for Hands would be too.

I agree they are not the best looking stocks but I want to make my granddaughter's Handi length of pull more adjustable.

The ATI stock would be good for extending as she grows.

AR's have a beauty all their own. I had one attached to my body for almost 11 years.  ;) It was part of the conditions of my first marriage.

As stated, be careful with these on any heaver recoiling caliber. I do not mean to be crude or gross, merely to drive home the point that this stock can be dangerous with handis having heavy or heavier recoil!
Some time back a member posted up some gruesome pics of his face where his eye was almost gouged out of its socket when this stock collapsed during recoil. Causing the scope to impact his eye.

the choate varmit stock also has removeable spacers to adjust length of pull. i like the one on my fluted 243. i thought it was kinda ugly till i put it to my shoulder. now it looks pretty good to me. ;)

The Choate feels great to hold. I ended up sending mine back after I got my rifle out of the box and the walnut looked like a stock off of a Ruger #1!  Who says H&R doesn't throw in a piece of gold sometimes.
