10 GA Waterfowl
« on: January 24, 2010, 09:39:27 AM »
Does anybody know if the Waterfowl model 10ga 30 in barrel has a screw in choke?  The H&R webpage seems to indicate it does. I always thought it was a fixed choke barrel.

Available in 10 gauge, the Pardner® waterfowl model is dependable and economical. It is available with a walnut-finished stock and a modified screw-in choke barrel.

If this helps: the 2009 H&R catalog says the Waterfowl 10 ga. comes equipped for choke tubes, with a MOD tube provided.

greg, the waterfowl say's mod. choke, if you look at the turkey, the 10ga. say's x-full screw-in.  12ga. full.  i think i would go for the turkey 10, and remember that hr won't fit anything other than 10ga to that receiver.  You could always call customer service, they are very nice people, and will answer any question you might have.  john
