Still Blamin' Bush ...
« on: January 25, 2010, 11:09:39 AM »
"The same thing that swept Scott Brown into office swept me into office," Obama said. "People are angry, and they're frustrated. Not just because of what's happened in the last year or two years, but what's happened over the last eight years."

hmm ... at least he concedes that they are angry and frustrated over the last two years, and its implied that he concedes that they were angry and frustrated at Democrats.

Yea, the  people of Massachusetts were so mad at Bush, they went and voted for a Republican.

Nice try Barry, so, you think we're all stupid don't you?

Whether it's the economy, national security or America's reputation abroad, President Obama and his top advisers have been pinning the blame on the prior administration, directly or obliquely, ever since Obama's inauguration a full year ago -- including at least seven times since last Tuesday's upset in the Massachusetts Senate election.

Nothing new here! Every administration blames all the current problems on the last administration. Bush did it, Clinton did it. Truth is, they are correct, and they will leave their garbage for the next Commander-in-thief to blame it on them, and the beat goes on.

It happens that way every time there is a party change in the white house.  Sometimes it happens when the new president of the same party comes to power.

No doubt he inherited more than his fair share of issues.  However, what he did in response to the situation is what is troubling.  Rather than grab a fire extinguisher to fight the flames he grabbed the hose at the gas pump and just poured it on.

He had the blue print on what not to do and has done everything to the contrary.  You might want to get your money back on that education Mr. President.

When I moved to Southern CA from the East coast I noticed the News did not go World, country, state, Local. As it did in NY or VA.
It went in the reverse order and then they tied everthing ouside of Local back to local news.
I then realized that these people putting on the news think the world revolves around them and are shallow, small minded people, and everything has to be about them.  Some how, some one has been telling, or writing it on his teleprompter, (Do you think he needs the teleprompter to make love to Michelle? or talk to his daughters at the breakfast table? " Someone please move the box of Cherrios I can not see the question on the teleprompter I am supose to ask you to show I am a loving and caring father")  that he is great and the savior, not of the world but of the communist movement and he is so slick he can slide communism/ socalism past the capitalists.
If you listen to BHO he never says We he says I, unless there is a problem then he says BUSH, inherited, systemic, or previous.
Heck I heard he wants to rename the fault line that runs through Hati to "It's all Bush's fault".
Everything is Me, My and get upset when what he thinks could or should work does not proving he thinks this is his little fantacy world and he is too stupid to understand reality but to arrogant to want to learn about it.  I have also found that the dumbest people will insist that they are smart.

This all makes a lot of sense. They're still blaming God for so many things.

What's a "fair" share look like? Which President in the past however many years has inherited a well oiled machine? Is he a "victim" that I should pity him? Should I expect less of him because he wasn't given the "opportunity to succeed" like others? Is the bar really that low of our expectations of his office?

Of course we all inherit the problems of our predecessor; been that way in every job I've ever had. Pointing that out serves little use in solving those problems, and I've been known to lay new track to where the failures of the past had less impact on the future. How about that Mr. President? How about never mind Bush, I'm here and I've got it. How about a little confidence, a little authority.

I want ot go one step farther.  He campaigned for the JOB!  He should have know what he was getting into.  Was all the HOPE and CHANGE crap just crap to get ellected?   Did he understand this was President of Country not his high school class and that people are going to want him to do what he said he would do on the campaign trail?  Actually I should take that back, he did make some changes and so far none have worked.  Sorry to say BHO that no matter what you hope for there are some hard and fast rules and like gravity the economic rules are rules for a reason and no matter how you hope for change in them.  If you raise taxes people loose jobs.  And even with the housing problems if you lower taxes and people keep thier jobs they can still pay for a house that has lost value.  Bailing out the banks could have been easier but make them refinance the loans into fixed 6% loans and allow them to change rates once people were 45 days late.  But instead he wanted to take over banks, the car industry and more.  The more he screws up he has to blame someone, it can't be his stupid ideas.  Because his socialist ideas, certainly, while not the cause of the down turn, have made it a greater one.  And trying to redistrubite wealth is best done in the free market.  All he has done is ruined wealth and transfered power and markets to the government.

Well, time will tell. When Reagan took office, the one trick pony Carter had both double digit inflation as well as loan interest. By the time he was up for re-election, it was pretty much back in order. Lets see if the anointed one can do the same. IF, this country hasn't gone into complete chaos in 2 years, which I'm betting it will, we'll see and compare. gypsyman
