I was on a wolf lover sight today and they stated the Wisconsin wolf population is down 15% because of mange. Although they claimed there were now only 550 wolves in the state. Of course they are wrong on the count but maybe they are right about wolf pop. being down 15 %. With the deer heard down this year I'm sure they are having a tough winter. The deer should be fairly healthy, the snow in Phillips is all gone and green grass is everywhere. The thermometer at my cabin read -23.8 this year, last year the low was -37.3, and the year before was -36 degrees. It seems it  was an easy winter so far for deer.
