Does anybody recall the cars made in the eastern, Communist block before the iron curtain came down ? I sure am not interested in patronizing outfits like the unions who cut a crooked deal with Obama, not only in the health care fiasco but in taking shareholder's portion of auto companies that the Obama administration seized and offered to them. I don't make deals with devils.

Although I am not a Volvo driver, I can recall a commercial they aired a few years ago, when rebates began in earnest. It said (paraphrased),..... ;
" We make our cars good enough that we don't believe we should have to pay someone to buy them".
I understand the defective assembly or part which is causing trouble with certain Toyota models was made by a supplier from Elkhart, Indiana. Surely, it will be worked out and the usual high quality vehicles by Toyota will be back in force.
