Nothing firm yet - Dale has to coordinate with his father-in-law as to the dates available.   :)

 If there is going to be a shoot in va, i know i will be intersted in shooting and a few big guns of the nssa will be too. what will be the limit on gun size if any?? or is this just a golf ball mortar shoot??

I haven't asked, but I don't think there will be a limtitation in bore size.

If you look at the threads from the last two (first and second annual) shoots, you'll see some good pictures of the 'range'.

Well if you get there with your little mountain gun I volunteer to help out as much as I can!

I am hoping to have something rifled there my self  ;D if I can get it done in time.

I will make the announcement as soon as we've decided.

It will be posted under a new topic:  The Third Almost-Annual New River Valley Blackpowder Mortar and Cannon Shoot.

I'm working on an old home-built cannon that is .50 cal now and will be bored out to clean up the bore to either 5/8 or 3/4 bore for the postal competition.

    Here's what i will do: bring 2 cannons and 3 mortars, and teach a safe shooting class for those that don't bring anything to shoot.
