This has been the wettist, and coldest winter in a long time, and with the humidity up all the time and thermometer down all the time, I'm cold all the time. Can't hunt, it too wet & cold! Can't fish, it's too wet & cold! Can't camp it's too wet & cold!
Ain't Global Warmin supposed to be WARM?

I heard something the other day about it being water temp. not air temp. And it was about less that one degree . Sometimes I don't understand smart people sometimes . Its like my testing for blood sugar. Its suppose to be 100-140 depending on when and if i eat . If its over 140 its a problem But there is a 50 point error margin . I ask the nurse if i was really at 130 2 hrs after a meal it would be great but with a 50 point margin of error i could read 180 . She says that's correct . I say OoooooK ! Didn't want to show my ignorance .

Well Shootall they did float away from the north pole, but their iceberg ran aground in North Texas, due it being so cold there. Dee will fill us in unless they ahve eaten him already!

just last nite on cnn a professor that is a supporter of the global warming bunch stated that it was the cloud cover that had made things colder. i said to myself "HUH?"

you should have heard this lulu trying to make sense of the obvious icebox parts of the nation has been in. he said not to be fooled by this cold period it was just a normal cycle in a global warming period caused by low cloud cover..... i said to myself "HUH?"

this guy was nothing more than a lunitic spewing all kinds of mumbo jumbo theory of how it was normal and that admittedly they had not taken into consideration the cooling effects of low hanging cloud cover..... I said to myself once again "HUH?

good lord.... these people are indeed lunatics that when something challeges their theories and suppositions they spit out more complete nonsense to support their theory. then when he was questioned he tried to use the al gore tactic of "THERE IS NO DEBATE TO BE HAD IT WAS SETTLED SCIENCE!" and further stated that if you questioned such facts that it was no doubt that you just were not smart enough to understand it...... again "HUH?"

these guys are loons but "PROGRESSIVE LOONS" that simply will not stand for anyone to question them. this is what obama wants to spend billions upon billions of our money on. we must put a stop to this nonsense before obama commits us into oblivion.

It's been a lot like that for me since November of 2007. Too cold or too windy or some combination. It's really been like a continuous winter since then.

If a Polar Bear shows up here, I expect ole Huff will have him up a pecan tree in no time. I'll make my decision then on what to use.
I thought I had a polar bear cub in my trap this morning, but my wife came out, rolled her eyes, and said it was somebodies' cat. Either way, it won't be back, and to tell the truth it did look a lot like a cat I had seen prowlin the neighborhood.

SHOOTALL to answer your question on what I might use, I'll probably use the ole 3030. I've never shot a polar bear with my 3030, and I figure if them Eskimos can kill'em with their 223s, a 3030 will work just fine. I'll let ole Huff worry him a little first though to get the scent. There's no tellin how much a Jack Russel trained to tree polar bears would be worth around here. Not that I'd sell him of course, but I could rent him out.

My sister in law just called. They live in Dumas, Tx, and Global Warming is really hammering them. They have over a foot of snow and it's still snowing.

Wow! Its just flippin' cold at night here, daytime melts with a little extra dampness thrown in. Its the dampness that's getting to me. Just aint a typical Wyoming winter. The 24hr day temp variations are really weird.

Dee that warming trend in Dumas is headed up here to Kansas tonight.Worked in my shirt sleeves two days ago.Now it's 24 with a 25 MPH north wind.Suppose to have between 6-10" of white crap tonight.With this wind,probably have four foot drifts to contend with in the morning.Slow

The National Weather Service reported a week or so ago that December, 2009 was the seventh coldest December on record. I haven't heard Al Gore chime in on that yet.

It rained most of last night and snowed all day but is clear now. The NWS is still predicting 22 degrees for a low tonight. It's dropped to 17 degrees and it is barely dark. It's going to be a very cold night and the wind is still at 20 mph.

I went outside once today and that was just to feed all those lonesome looking blue quail standing around the feeder.

Up here on the Fourth coast....4 days this week snow and -0s 30mph wind. Didn't even go out to get the mail today. Still a long way till may.

Come on up here to southeast alaska it's been in the 40s & 50s. Course it was blowing about 60-70mph and the rain was comming sideways.

Well, I don't believe in man-caused global warming, or even man-caused climate change, but they are telling us here in the PNW that if the temperature reaches 47 degrees today, it will set the record for the warmest January on record. It's 46 right now and the sun isn't even up yet.

I'm telling ya, guys, it's been a real burden not having to scrape ice, shovel snow and bundle up like an eskimo just to go outside. Oh wait, our usual average is only about 1 degree cooler than this heatwave we're having. But give ole Algore his due; he called this one right. Well, maybe not, they're blaming it on el nino.
