I've bought a couple from MidwayUSA.  The one for the 30/06 will work fine for the 22-250 and I believe what you want is the medium.

Call T/C 1-800-243-4570 and the nice lady will tell you which one to get OR if you have a catalog(The 2010 catalog is downloadable on T/C's web page)they list the calibers for each size. That is if you are getting the T/C buttstock carrier.

I picked up my shell holder from D-Sports, $6 but I had to have the wife add 1" to it so it would fit on the Boyds stock.

Medium and the same one will work well for both chamberings.

Also if you have sling swivel stud on the buttstock you can punch a hole in the ammo band to correspond with the stud. Keeps the thing from slipping forward.

I use Allen medium elastic type $4.95 Heat up 16 penny nail melt through bottom put over sling swivel stud and stays put. I have put 300 mag, 270 win, 22-250 in same holder. If you don't store cartidges for extened period the elastic will hold all three. I only put 300 mag for 10 day elk hunt it is a little tight! Then back to 270 for Utah Mule deer and Missouri Whitetail 3 weeks then all winter with 22-250 Rabbits and Yotes have had same holder for three years still holding all three. When I bought the Allen I got 2 thinking I would need one for 300 mag and one for the 270, 22-250 one is still got cardboard and price tag on it.
