Barnes TTSX ,,,info from Barnes
« on: January 29, 2010, 10:49:35 AM »
Just FYI,
  I'm trying a few loads with the Tipped TSX and neither the current book nor the web site has data listed for the TTSX, so useing the link from here,
I e-mailed the question of what data to use and after 5 days I got a nice reply as follows;

Hi John,
 We are recommending the TSX and or MRX load data for use with the TTSX Bullets. Please see attached.
 Thanks, Ty

So there it is in a nut shell. The attached was the full data for my 7-08 as printed in Book #4.
I have a 20 round ladder worked up for 120's and hope to git to the range this weekend,(weather permiting) and then I can mess with seating,,sure hope they fly well. The gun currently likes 140grn bullets, I'm trying the 120's because of the longer full copper projectiles,,I'll keep ya posted.

1. What load data do I use for the Tipped Triple-Shock and Maximum Range X Bullets?
Answer. We recommend using Triple-Shock X Bullet data from Barnes Reloading Manual Number 4 or the Technical Section of Barnes Bullets website.

Oh yeah, no mistake there, I've got some great data from Ty Herring, data that's not in the book or on the website.  ;)
