Who is using one? How do you like it? Are they availble in SS 20ga. or .410? Any thoughts would be appericated. Looked on TC's site they do show 20ga. slug in SS.

I have had a couple of the 12 gauge smoothbore and with 3" magnum turkey loads they would stomp the snot out of you. They were extra light and easy to carry but kick like a mule on steriods. I haven't tried a 20 gauge in the encore but did have a 410 in the contender and it was a lot of fun to shoot.

I shoot one in 20 gauge with the 28" blued fluted pro hunter barrel.  Pretty sure you can get the same barrel in stainless, try eabco.  Recoil is very manageable, using the Sims recoil pad.  I did switch to a walnut stock/forearm which added a little weight, but that was mostly because I prefer walnut to plastic.

I will try eabco. I did see the .410 for the contender. Already have a Encore, not really wanting to have to buy a Contender. Looking for my 10 y/o son. so weight and recoil are factors.
