See the email I sent you a few minutes ago. I figure if I had made the temporary hood from tape last week she might have been a whole lot more consistent.
Anyway, it sure took a while for that rifle to settle down and shoot after cleaning the bore!! It was all over the place for a while. I finally settled on a six O'clock hold on a good old black 25 yd. target, some of these brightly colored ones don't work too well. Trigger control seems real critical here, too, as it doesn't have the great trigger the Savage does.
For sure not having a glare on that front sight made all the difference.
