Nearly 70% of the United States blanketed in snow

The United States recorded its most extensive snow cover of the winter season on Sunday.

According to NOHRSC, 69.7 percent of the country was snow covered.

8-10 inches here 13 degrees this morning in Chesterfield Va. So much fo golbal warming !

W started off with about a inch to a inch and a half of ice.
Then anywhere's from 8-12 inches of snow here in central OK.

I've been enjoying a long weekend for 5 days now. ;D
The ice is really slowing progress, snow not such a big deal.

I saw a report the other day that stated that the global warming did not effect the average temps in the 20th century.   They also found the the test reports were done incorrectly. Supposedly to show that more testing needed to be done and therefore assuring they received ongoing funding.

According to our weather gurus, we've had a snow accummulation greater than Anchorage, Alaska! I'm in SW Virginia!
