7mm mag recoil

Looking to get a 7mag barrel for my new stock and frame.  Anyone care to talk about recoil of a 7mg vs a .280 or so?

I can, a little. Felt difference, with similar bullet weights, in similar profile barrel weights, 140g's in the magnum will kick about 7 foot pounds more of recoil force.

Felt recoil depends alot on the weight of the gun. Also, if you go with the 7 mm mag. you can load down to .280 velocities.
