Computer help needed

I have to update my browser and was wondering what most of you prefer. I have been using IE. I installed the 8.0 IE last year and had lots of problems with it, so I went back to the 7.0 version.
Opinions are welcome.

I voted 'other',FireFox is better to me than IE,but i've went
to Chrome and it's faster for me.
With my PC firefox kept wanting me to restart firefox.I did
like the firefox format better.

Firefox is better than IE, but lately I've been finding the Webkit-based browsers to be fastest.  Google's Chrome, as well as Apple's Safari browser fall into that category.

Personally, if you don't plan on using lots of extensions (third-party plugins to change the way the browser behaves), then Safari isn't a bad choice for a no-nonsense get to it solution.

Here is the trade off.

More viruses are made for IE
Some websites wont work with Foxfire.

I use Foxfire, and maybe once every few months I find a website I cant use.
All the time, Im blocking IE loop holes

IE is an integrated part of Windows; if IE gets infected, Windows gets infected. Running another browser can help "Sandbox" an infection.
I've been using Firefox so long that it's an integrated part of my brain, but I think Opera is a better browser; its just difficult switching over.
