Its pronounced GOOEY-Duck
« on: February 05, 2010, 09:18:30 PM »
For those of you not from the Pacific Northwest.
They are hideous creatures, when you harvest them with a "clam gun" you dance on top of their breathing holes, before you yank them out of the sand. Unless you have done it, you wont understand

My Paw taught me to be a rifleman, never had much use for handguns.
My Ma liked the TV show so much, they named my little brother Marcus.

Got into lever 30-30s a while back, ended up not liking them all to much.
So I guess they are my handguns.

Got a 45-70 last year, and can not figure out for the life of me, why I waited half a  century to find such a fun piece.
Its a break open single shot, soon as I find a home for all my 30-30 stuff, Ill be trading it away for a lever 45-70.

Made good jacketed loads, cast a bunch of 400 grainers up, filled them with black powder, now the fun begins.

Been around firearms and reloading since the time of real America, how i regress

Welcome from Northern Kaliforny. We got some of your big clams in Humboldt Bay. I prefer the smaller razorbacks, tho.
