Here's a pic of the little 410er slug shooter I had. Always surprisingly accurate! The scattered shots outside the circle are buckshot, the shots in the circle are rifled slugs. She was a sweet little shooter!

What were you using 410 slugs for ? here in New York in shot gun only areas for deer hunting we can't use anything smaller than a 20 ga. I knew some good ole boys 35 years ago when I first started hunting turkeys that would use 410 slugs

Ah yes....  I have a brand new 410 barrel  and scope mount setting here, all I have to do is finish up that project, heck even got 5 brand new boxes of slugs.....

  I had been thinking that a round ball loaded in a .410 case like a muzzle loader might give better results than the slugs being sold today. Has anyone ever tried loading their own .410 slugs?

How come all the holes are the same size?
The outside holes look pretty darn big for buckshot.

out of my .410, slugs and 000 buckshot make about the same size hole.

000 buck is .360 in diameter and slugs around .400 in diameter
