Yep I got about 6 to 10 inches of global warming all over my neck of the woods.

This time it's gonna get us here in Bama even. I'm right on the line between a prediction of 1" to 2" and 2" to 3" but further south they are looking at up to 6" and even on the beach down along the gulf they are expecting to see snow tomorrow.

Had to go out and get some firewood today (well, technically yesterday since it's almost 1 AM, but I'm going to stick with calling it "today").  Ran all over Bixby looking, cheapest we found was $70/rick.  Checked a feed store just north of Beeline Grocery (and less than 2 miles from home) and they were getting $65/rick, but it was still sitting on the trailer, so they didn't know how much they had.  Drove down to where we normally get firewood from in Preston (they had been totally out last week) and it was snowing down there.  South of highway 16, snow.  North of it, none.  Go figure.

Can you believe it? Snowing again today.  ???
Well at least the 50+ degree temps yesterday will slow it from sticking.

Yeah, we got 1 1/2" in Ponca City yesterday!  But at least it was gone by the afternoon.  At least I was able to get the boat out and catch me a stringer of crappie on Friday out at Kaw!  Made for a really fine dinner that night!

This is riduclous. >:(
Woke up to snow again.
We had a healthy 1 1/2 to 2 inches where I live.

For anyone reading this not for the south please understand my ranting is because we usually only get one or two snows a years.
On top of that it's not unusual for them to just be lite dustings of snow.
Some years we get one pretty good snow upwards of a foot of snow.
Lot's of us live down here because we don't like this kind of winter.
Usually one good snow a year and we're happy.
Seems this year every time you turn around it's snowing. :P

Yea I was watching the weather last night and it looked liked starting around OKC then south and east of there.
They got a pretty good dose up north and west a few days ago.
Got a buddy at Vance AFB and he said they got about 3 inches then.

Hey they are talking snow again here on Thursday but  with it in the mid thirties it won't last long (I hope). I'm camping this weekend and doing a poker run on a motorcycle Saturday.
Deer hunting is mostly fun then you shoot one and it turns to work.

I brought my pic's with me today. I'll try and get a few posted later.

Here's a few from out last big one here.

Nothing like Duluth MN. but pretty significant for down here.
You'll notice the snow stacked on the tree branchesin the 4th picture.
That is rare for down here as the wind almost always blows it off.

Well here it is March 20th and I wake up to an inch of snow on the ground and more heading our way this afternoon.
Yesterday temps were in the hi 60's and low 70's. Today snow. Go figure. Where else but Oklahoma.

Sitting here reading your posts, and decided to say we had a small flurry about 3:pm this afternoon, but got up and went to the front door just now and looked outside. AAAaaaahhhh.   :o   It's snowing hard and the ground is covered.   It wasn't supposed to do that until tomorrow...    ???

Oh well; that's Oklahoma weather for ya.  ;D

Looks like the people in the eastern half of the state will get the snow dumping they promised us in central and western OK. yesterday.
The front appears stalled over Arkansas now and just letting loose. Looks like you folks down in SC and SE part of the state may get your snow now.

Man We're getting hammered here.  I cleaned 9" of snow off my my 4/W drive truck just awhile ago, but it's sticking as the temp. is dropping again.  Out here in the country there is no traffic at all on these dirt roads.   Good thing it's supposed to thaw tomorrow. ::)

12:30PM this afternoon is still snowing and the lights are beginning to flicker.  My APC Back-up says 1 overvoltage and 2 blackouts.   Probably the chickenhouses up the road.   They always have problems that affect the rest of us down the line.

We got a steady rain with 36 degrees and most of ours went away. This morning it is 39 and already climbing   Whew dodged the last bullet. Time to start patterning some birds now. But I did remember a turkey hunt one year with a lite snow falling.

Bringing this back up. Looks like we're in for a nice snow storm.
So far this year we've had a dusting and another that accumulated around a inch and a half.

I hear that !   They keep changing the forecast.  Increasing snow amounts.   Temps are already dropping here.    Single digit lows predicted.   That ain't good for the water pipes.
