Good game.  I really didn't have a dog in this fight but I'm glad to see the underdog come out on top.

Yea I was happy to see them win seeing as they never won one before. To be honest I thought the Colts were going to run away with this game. If I would have bet on it I would have taken the Colts. It's a good thing I did not bet. One other thing though. I really would have liked to see Brett Farve go to the big game. I was disapointed when the Vikings lost. I feel he deserves to go and win the big one. Dale

You make it sound like Favre has never been to the Super Bowl. He went to the Super Bowl two times with the Packers: Super Bowl XXXI against New England and Super Bowl XXXII against Denver. The Packers beat New England and lost to Elway and Broncos. Favre has the winner's ring for a Super Bowl. You must not have been watching football in the 90s.

So if the underdog comes out on top are the really an underdog?  Or just labeled as such by a bunch of guys in Las Vegas trying to make some money?  I was glad to see them win. Been a long two weeks of hearing Payton Manning over and over

Being from Indiana I am a big Colts fan. I am very disappointed that the the Colts lost. However - the Saints played the better game and deserved to win - way to go Saints. As usual, it came down to 4 or 5 key plays and the Saints got more of them than Indy did. I think the biggest one was the on side kick beginning the 3rd quarter. That was a 7 point swing that caused the Colts to play catch up. If that would not have happened Manning could control the clock and play keep away from the Saints and changed the way the Saints played the second half. The Colts would have been up 17 to 6 after scoring their third quarter touchdown right after the Saints recovered the on side kick and scored. But, like I said that was not the only key play and the Saints got more of them than the Colts did. The Saints made the plays when they needed them and deserved the win.

It's the only NFL game I watch all year.
I found it moderatley entertaining.
I was actually web surfing through most of it.
As a result I missed most of it.

I have to agree with the poster above about the half time show.
Light show was kind of interesting.

I just don't understand some of you old timers on this forum. ;) If you didn't like the Who during the halftime show, then I guess there is just no hope for you. I suppose you would have had to grown up with them in 60s, like me, and some of the other kids here on the forum. ;D Jeez, you old folks. :D

I wished they would have performed, "the Seeker." And I thought it was pretty cool how Peter Townsend's jacket kept popping out from behind his Stratocaster, and would get caught between his pick and the strings.

I am mistaken then. I did not think Farve had a ring. As for Peter Townsend he is a pedaphile. Do you remember when he was caught with kiddy porn on his computer? He said it was for research he was doing. Yea right. Dale

the second quarter made a lof of difference with 3 offensiv eplays for the colts.  The onside kick was brilliant.

The onside kick was brilliant.

Indeed.  That was one of the most gutsy things I've ever seen in a Super Bowl.  Onside kicks are so much of a last ditch effort that it's almost always known that that's what they're doing.  Springing it then caught the viewers (and more importantly the Colts) completely by surprise.

No one mentioned Manning's INT with plenty of time left on the clock to drive down and score. For the last five years or more all we have heard is how great a quarterback Manning is. Maybe Manning is just not that great when the heat is turned up and the pressure is on him to win the game. That int bought back memories of Niel O'Donnell in the SB, when he threw a couple of picks to ensure the Steelers didn't win. Of coarse you would expect that from a QB like O'Donnell.

It was the first Super Bowl I've truly enjoyed in quite some time.  The Saints played a brilliant game and showed that persistence is the name of the game.  Being 10 points down they could have easily given up.  I thought The Who did fine...it looked like they remembered to take their Centrum Silver.   ;D

On another note, it was fine display of poor sportsmanship by Peyton Manning.  While he's not my favorite I have always thought he was one of the games better representatives.  So much for that.

Heavy C:  I can remember when after one of his mishaps in a game he would stat yelling at his offensive line, like it was their fault. After all how could the ever so great Manning screw up. He must have been told to quit the crying and play football, because I've not seen him do it for a while. Poor sportsmanship has always been Manning's MO.

Dale, O'Donnell's picks in that game were so blatant, that there were many rumors that he had been paid off. We will never know.

Care to elaborate on that! What did he do to show poor sportsmanship? can somebody clue me in!

How about Manning running off the field like a cat with his tail between legs before the final seconds ticked off the clock. Come on man, he could have shook Brees's hand. Montana didn't get where he was without shaking a few hands after a lose.

OK Didn't know that happened, I had already ran outa the room with my remote control trying to kick the cat!  ;)

I have no use for the chocolate city or its football team, I was born in Louisiana, and N.O. has always been a canker sore on the mouth of that state. It represents all that is corrupt and evil! its like a big drunken frat party. A little embarassing the morning after.

They won the game, good for em! Can't take that away. Nothing against Drew Brees! just have no use for N.O. anything

Manning didn't do anything wrong.  The Who was awful.
