Colt Woodsman

I noticed today that USFA will be making a 2nd generation Match Target Woodsman. They will come in two barrel lengths 4.5 and 6. Sounds like another good gun to save up for.

It scares me. The copy is rarely as good as the original. A good example is the Texas made High Standards

In this case, there is reason for optimism. USFA makes Colt 1873 clones better than Colt makes them. If they keep to their track record, the clone of the Woodsman will be better than the original.

That would certinally be good news.  ;D I really like the woodsman, especially the pre-war high speed model.
