Auto Mag III

Does anyone have any experience with this pistol?  I have a chance to pick one up that's hardly used...  But I haven't heard anything about them good or bad.

Taz:  What caliber are those pistols.  A lot of folks have had functional problems with the AMT Hardballer in 45 and many folks have been advised to avoid them.  Auto Mag also produced a 22 magnum Autoloader but I am not certain how they have fared regarding reliability and accuracy.  I think the 22 magnum would be a great handgun, but only if it works right.  Mikey.

Had an Auto mag

I had a AMT Auto Mag in .30 carbine this year. Shot fair but was loud and not very accurate with any load. Mine was like new and I paid $300 for it. After several month of trying to get it to group, I sold it, dies, brass, & bullets for $600. AMT's are almost impossible to get parts for. I would suggest you pass unless you can hold it for resale.
