You heard it here first! The 375 JDJ will no longer be a wildcat round, it has been adopted. It is being tested and loaded by Hornady as we speak. That's all I can tell you right now

Looks like the old .375 Win. barrel could use a chamber job now that commercially formed brass will be available...no experience with forming brass, is it easy for the JDJ's?
How'd you like a peek at my 14-incher? (Contender, that is)

and one quick pass through your die.  Really easy to make.  No fireforming or extra steps required.

I have multiple 257, 6.5, 309 and 375 JDJ's, and brass forming is quite easy compared to some of my other wildcats.   Form dies not needed if you can step it with other standard dies that you already have on hand (that's what I do) - then fire form.

Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Yes, and it looks like T/C will be offering factory Contender barrels cham
bered for it too........I've heard they would be available from Fox Ridge but this listing on Midways site looks like it must be a std. run barrel for the price...........
Thompson Center Barrel Contender, G2 Contender 375 JDJ 14" Blue Adjustable Sights
Product #: 954689
Status: Coming Soon
Our Price: $223.25

They say they expect to have them by 12/27.....sounds like great news for anybody thats ever wanted one and couldnt or wouldnt pay the price for an SSK barrel, I know they wont be the same quality as SSK but I'll bet they'll shoot pretty good and for about 1/2 the price they should be quite a bargain.

Hope they did their homework at TC

Won't be the Shilen barrels and probably not the same twist. Hope TC does their homework and makes them right. That will be great. I know several that will jump on them after shooting mine and then finding out what they cost. I can't wait to see one. I would like to have one in a 21-24" barrel.
