Sidekick Replacement Stocks???
« on: February 11, 2010, 05:10:18 AM »
I would love to replace the ugly wooden stock on my Sidekick, but am having a hard time finding someone that makes them.

Anyone out there know of a source for replacement stocks and matching forends???
Just another voice in the crowd!!!

Try Numrich/GunParts:  www.e-gunparts.com. The stock for a Pardner rifle should fit the Sidekick.  I didn't see a forearm on the web site, but you can give them a call if you need one.

Oops, I just noticed that you said the ugly stock.  I found a straight-grip stock a couple of years ago in the Gunparts catalog and finished it with a walnut stain and Tru-oil.  Not fancy but it looks nice on my old Topper. I cut the schnabel off the forend, rounded it off and finished it to match the stock.  It looks like a completely different rifle.

LL, You could advertize in the WTB classifieds here and probably come up with something.
