best scope mount for a handi

Just wanted to see what everyone thought was the best scope mount for a handi.

The only one I've ever had or used was the one from H&R/NEF.
Bolted right up no problem.

Probably a better question is which one is the worst, that would be the Weaver #82, just about any of the others listed in the FAQs will work fine, except maybe the short one from Numrich, just depends on how much you want to spend. ;)

I've got an H&R base on my 500S&W with a 2-7x32 Nikon shotgun scope in Leupold PRW rings, it's still holding fine after nearly 200 rounds of lil'gun loads, no powder puff loads either.  ;) But if you want the best base, get one of the steel Warne bases and anchor it using the Loctite bedding method listed in the FAQs, it works for me.

I like the factory bases best.  I had two Weavers that I had to notch to put red dots on cause the slots were in the wrong place.

Yes, but TGS and Bud's sells them for less, at least less shipping, see the FAQs, H&R charges $10 shipping and tax, they come with the hammer extension too.

Thats just weaver it's not just for the H&R's I've had to do the same thing for my mossbergs with weaver bases.
