first meet Gunnery Sergeant Hartman played by R. Lee Ermy. I won't put a link to it here
because it involves the use of a lot of foul language, but believe me, it has to be one
of the most classic scenes ever!

Hard to pick a single favorite. Wyatt Earp would have to be it if I had to pick one. Follwed close by Patriot, Unforgiven, Saving Private Ryan, Enemy at the Gates, Valkyrie and I would put Deliverance right up there.

I watched Deliverance with my 20 year old son about 3 months ago and he thought it was great. It's one of his favorites now.

I forgot about that movie and have to admit that is one of the best ever made. For those of you that have not seen it here are the scenes Cabin was speaking of. This is really a great movie.  i guess mabe in the movie hard times..charles bronsons just about whipped the british ringer ,that was brought in to whippim..the gambler tries to hand the british fighter a roll of quarters or something.. the fighter refuses an goes on in where bronson finishes him off.. if you gonna fight ,,you better be able to handle loseing once an a while.slim

One of my favorites is in The Outlaw Josey Wales.  Clint Eastwood (Josey Wales) is in a town, and is carrying bags of groceries in each hand. Four soldiers hear the salesman saying "Oh my God its Josey Wales". The four Soldiers turn around, and there is a stare down. Then Josey spits and says "Are you going to pull those pistols or whistle Dixie" One of the soldiers makes a move for his gun, Josey drops his bags and guns down three of them while his Indian friend takes out the forth one. Couple of other sceens in that movie that are pretty good also. Like the Missouri boat ride, and when he goes into a trading post to get a horse.  The Outlaw Josey Wales is one of my all time favorite movies.

Thanks for posting those Dale. Not sure how you do that but good work. That scene of general is extremlly profound when you see that he is no longer reading from the letter but reciting the letter form memory. Obviously the message there was, he read it so many times he has it tatooed into his memory.

Yes, Saving Private Ryan, the entire movie was very powerful and realistic. I was speechless for some time after seeing it.

The outlaw Jossie Wales was eastwoods directorial debut, and IMHO his finest work. Jossie Wales and Jeremiah johnson are two movies I can watch over and over and not get tired of them.
