I looked for some of these movies mentioned at the library today and they didn't have any of them. Last night I got to see DIGGSTOWN, never saw it before and it was a darn good movie. I never guessed the ending, loved it. I never figured out how the one con was killed in the ring outside of the prison. In reality he was TEX COBB, a former heavyweight boxer. Anyway, a darn good flick. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

Boy you want to talk about a movie with a surprise ending. It would be the sixth sense with Bruce Willis. I really could not believe the end of that movie. I had to go back and wath the ending a couple more times it was that good. Dale

The scene in Death Hunt where they have Charles Bronson pinned down in the cabin.
Nobody said it had to be serious, the scene in Caddyshack where Bill Murray is teeing off on the flowers.
Force 10 From Navarone, the scene where the dam is blown and starts to crumble.

SLIM. Agreed, Larry was a great fighter. I always believed that a fight with Ali, both in their prime, would have been a spectacular fight which I believe Larry would have won. Larry was almost as fast and had more power. I remember Tex on the Carson show before and after he fought Holmes. He'd never even been knocked down, let alone taken out. After the fight carson said, Tex you didn't do so good. Tex, you noticed that too??? POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

Just for pure comic fun,   The scene in 1941, (starring Dan Akyroyd and John Belushi, Joun Candy, Robert Stack and Ned Beatty)

when Slim Pickens, ( in the movie he is Hollis P Wood, a rural Christmas tree salesman) who is spotted and captured on the beach in California.  The Japs had apparently lost their compass, and in a last ditch effort, they were gonna try and bomb Hollywood, which they seem to think is the "Heart" of America).    is captured and the Japs try to make him talk.  They strip him down, search him, and of all things, find a box of cracker jacks, the prize inside just happens to be a compass........the Japs are happy, until Pickens grabs and swallows it.  Their only alternative is to "wAIT IT OUT"  so they make him drink prune juice...hahaha..and hope it...."passes".....

If you are a Slim Pickens fan......( and who isn't)......yuo gotta love this scene...
